Common Grounds was founded in 2011, just steps away from the Mekong River in Downtown Vientiane, Laos.  

Our customers are unique so our menu and restaurant layout is as well. 

We don’t exist simply to make a profit. We operate on principles that prioritize the well being of customers, employees and our environment. In everything we do, we want to positively impact the economic, social, and spiritual development of beautiful Laos.

Great Food

Our in-house bakery provides us with fresh products daily to make pastries, sandwiches, wraps, pitas and Mexican food.

 We also have many vegetarian and gluten free options as well.

Organic Lao Coffee

You can sit and watch our coffee being roasted in house on the 2nd floor. Our beans are sourced from 5 different regions in Laos. We buy direct, ensuring the farmers are getting a healthy wage and using best farming practices.

We have baristas who compete in the national latte art competition and love to showcase techniques in pour offer, aero press or french press as well.

Whether your a family coming to enjoy the all weather playground, enjoying a business lunch or working in peace while watching the roasting in action we have different spaces for everyone.

Meeting rooms on the 2nd floor can be reserved (up to 40 people).
